Bitcoin price is still below $70,000, and at the time of writing, the Fed interest rate decision had not been announced. However, the predictions of two popular figures contain details beyond short-term movements. Tone Vays Cryptocurrency Predictions
Analysts’ views may not be a good option for forming your investment strategies. However, they are useful for evaluating the markets from different perspectives. Renowned crypto analyst and investor Tone Vays expects the consolidation phase to continue for another 1-2 months before the big move that many are anticipating.
According to him, BTC will head for a major breakout at $102,000, but there is still time for that. In his latest market assessment, he wrote:
“The monthly chart is in an MRI sell. The MRI top is in consolidation, so we are highly likely to set up for a second consecutive weekly MRI top and then hopefully a third.”
Bill Miller’s Crypto Comments
The second analyst has not lost his bullish sentiment despite short-term volatility. Historical data essentially gave hope for strong peaks in the markets between the first half of 2024 and 2025, even during bear markets. So, at least most investors older than 5-6 years have experienced this closely, and short-term movements do not affect them much.
Miller focuses on Bitcoin’s strong capabilities in areas like limited supply, ownership, and freedom in the much longer term.
“Despite Bitcoin reaching new highs against all fiat currencies recently, I still believe Bitcoin is significantly undervalued today. And I believe the world is likely in the early stages of a secular shift in how people think about capital and its governance.”
His predictions also point to a philosophical global shift along with the transformation in financial markets. Time has been moving much faster in the last 20 years; perhaps we will live long enough to see if he is right?
In the summer, crypto is usually in sell and go on vacation mode. We will see how it turns out this year.
