Binance has announced plans to delist six digital assets from its spot trading platform on August 17. The world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange confirmed that users will no longer be able to trade any spot pairs involving Across Protocol (ACX), Hashflow (HFT), PIVX (PIVX), Vulcan Forged PYR (PYR), Vanar (VANRY), or Viction (VIC) after 03:00 UTC on that date.

New delistings and evaluation process

The company stated that it regularly reviews all listed tokens as part of an ongoing effort to ensure that assets meet established standards. Binance examines various criteria, including the development team’s commitment, sustained project activity, trading volume, liquidity, network security, level of community support, and overall transparency. These reviews are intended to safeguard users and maintain the credibility of the platform.

According to Binance, maintaining a rigorous monitoring and evaluation process is essential in a fast-changing industry. Delistings occur when the exchange finds that a token no longer satisfies its listing requirements or fails to adapt to the evolving standards.

Trading in all spot market pairs for ACX, HFT, PIVX, PYR, VANRY and VIC will end at 03:00 UTC on August 17. Binance will continue to conduct periodic reviews of its listed assets and take necessary action to protect users.

Special considerations for VANRY

Among the six assets facing delisting, Vanar (VANRY) receives special mention. Binance confirmed it will not support VANRY’s upcoming contract migration. Users holding VANRY must manually swap their tokens via the migration portal provided by the Vanar project itself, rather than within Binance’s ecosystem.

Withdrawals for VANRY tokens will remain available on both the Ethereum and Polygon networks, allowing holders to transfer their assets outside the exchange even after spot trading ceases.

Mini dictionary: Vanar (VANRY): A digital asset aiming to support metaverse and gaming applications through blockchain-based infrastructure. The project is currently conducting a token contract migration, requiring holders to exchange old tokens for new ones using its dedicated portal.

Previous delistings and 2026 trends

This move marks Binance’s fourth major round of token delistings in 2026. With the removal of these six coins, the total number of assets scheduled for delisting by Binance this year reaches 21.

In February 2026, Binance removed six cryptocurrencies: ACA, CHESS, DATA, DF, GHST, and NKN. The following April saw the exit of A2Z, FORTH, HOOK, IDEX, LRC, NTRN, RDNT, and SXP. Later that month, BIFI, FIO, FUN, MDT, OXT, and WAN were also delisted, followed by DEGO, DENT, and TRU.

The delisting process continued in May, with Automata Network (ATA), Harvest Finance (FARM), Enzyme (MLN), Phoenix (PHB), and Syscoin (SYS) removed from trading pairs. In June, Contentos (COS), Dar Open Network (D), Highstreet (HIGH), and MOBOX (MBOX) were added to the delisting list.

The series of delistings shows Binance’s ongoing commitment to stringent asset standards and its cautious approach to risk in the volatile crypto market. The company has urged users to check their portfolios and take any necessary actions before the delisting deadline.
