X Finance Bull, a prominent cryptocurrency commentator, described recent advancements at Ripple Treasury as “highly bullish” for both Ripple and $XRP. The assessment centers on Ripple’s expanding use of artificial intelligence within its institutional treasury operations.

Ripple Treasury enhances architecture with AI

X Finance Bull responded to Crypto Enthusiast RealGrapedrop, who published an updated architecture map illustrating the interplay between Ripple Treasury, GSmart AI, conventional banking infrastructure, and broader digital asset services. The commentator emphasized that this development transcends the mere adoption of AI tools, highlighting the depth of their integration into institutional finance workflows.

X Finance Bull argued that Ripple’s system demonstrates how artificial intelligence can function within the established rules of treasury teams while maintaining direct human oversight. According to their remarks, this approach balances the efficiency of AI with the compliance and risk standards critical to professional finance.

X Finance Bull underscored that the real significance is “how deep Ripple Treasury is getting into real institutional finance, with AI working inside the rules treasury teams already use.”

The commentator also expressed appreciation to RealGrapedrop for mapping out these developments, noting that further details will be provided soon.

GSmart AI employs governed agents for compliance

RealGrapedrop stated that the initial version of the architecture map, published in April, positioned GSmart AI at the top of Ripple Treasury’s system. The latest revision reflects Ripple’s September 10 announcement on the expanded role of GSmart, prompting adjustments to the design.

In this updated model, Knowledge Studio, Governed Agents, and Analytics Studio sit alongside five core treasury functions: Forecasting, Liquidity, Risk, Reconciliation, and Reporting. The most significant update involves the operational model of AI agents. Rather than acting autonomously, these agents monitor workflows, propose actions, cite relevant policies, and solicit human approval prior to execution, ensuring that treasury teams retain the final say in decision-making.

Ripple Treasury executive Renaat Ver Eecke characterized this methodology as “Treasury native AI,” meaning that AI systems operate entirely within the parameters established by professional treasury standards.

Addition of new tools and higher adoption rates

The revised architecture now features Knowledge Studio, which lets treasury professionals set operational policies for the agents, and Analytics Studio with Ask GSmart, providing a natural language interface to company data. RealGrapedrop noted that adoption is already underway, citing data that 60% of eligible customers have enabled Risk Insights and 44% use Forecast Insights.

The updated map now also includes Reconciliation functions powered by Solvexia, an automation platform that Ripple acquired in January.

Mini dictionary: Solvexia is a financial process automation company specializing in reconciliation and compliance tools for enterprise clients. Its recent acquisition by Ripple allows the expansion of automation features within Ripple’s treasury operations.

Other additions to the architecture include SettleMint DALP, part of Ripple Custody’s solution portfolio, as well as enhancements to RLUSD and new features for Ripple Prime. These updates position Ripple Treasury to bridge digital asset infrastructure and established banking rails, incorporating elements such as ACH, wires, SWIFT, and modern custody solutions.

RealGrapedrop stated that the central innovation is the integration of traditional treasury controls with new AI-driven and digital asset tools, increasing operational flexibility for institutional clients.

Ripple, a San Francisco-based blockchain technology company, has focused on enterprise solutions for cross-border payments, digital asset management, and institutional finance. The ongoing development of its AI-enhanced treasury products is seen as a strategic move to support wider adoption among large financial organizations.
