Hinkal has become a member of Mastercard’s Crypto Partner Program, marking a step toward bringing privacy infrastructure to the payment giant’s global digital asset initiative. This collaboration seeks to deliver privacy-focused blockchain solutions to a rapidly growing environment where stablecoins are gaining traction for payments, settlements, and commercial transactions.

Privacy technology integrated with global payments

Hinkal specializes in privacy infrastructure for blockchain transactions, using zero-knowledge proofs to process private stablecoin transfers. This technology enables platforms to verify transfers securely while keeping sensitive details such as amounts and counterparties confidential from public view.

The integration enables businesses to explore onchain payment capabilities without exposing their financial activity on public blockchains. Companies can incorporate Hinkal’s tools through software development kits and APIs, giving them an alternative to building confidential systems from scratch.

Mastercard’s Crypto Partner Program provides member companies with access to the payment network’s partners, issuing and acquiring participants, and regulatory support. It brings together stablecoin issuers, blockchain infrastructure providers, digital asset platforms, and crypto card enablers to support real-world applications of digital assets.

For Hinkal, this ecosystem offers the opportunity to embed privacy features into payment products ranging across fintech, payment providers, and wallets. The system currently operates on Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, TRON, and additional EVM-compatible networks.

Current integrations and ecosystem growth

Hinkal’s technology has already been implemented with several products. Polygon Wallet uses Hinkal to power Private Send capabilities, while Tether’s Wallet Development Kit supports private-send functionalities. Turnkey enables wallet providers to offer private transfers via Hinkal’s SDK, and Avvio uses the platform to facilitate confidential payments.

Such integrations allow platforms to upgrade privacy features for users without changing their existing products or user experience.

Hinkal’s privacy infrastructure can be integrated into wallets and fintech platforms through configurable SDKs and APIs, making confidential transactions more accessible to a broad range of businesses seeking secure onchain payments.

With the meme token market displaying rapid shifts, monitoring not only price movement but also investor timing and token selection has grown in significance. In some cases, trending internet memes have resulted in million-dollar trading opportunities within days. Fomo App highlighted an example where an investor turned a $99 position in “Niu Lai” into roughly $370,000. Social feeds, investor rankings, and trade alerts on Fomo App provide tools for tracking both tokens and trading patterns within the meme sector, making platforms that enable real-time activity and token discovery valuable resources for participants.

Balancing privacy with compliance requirements

Stablecoins promise fast, borderless value transfers, but public blockchains can leave sensitive business information exposed. Companies handling payroll, supplier payments, or treasury operations may face risks due to this transparency.

Hinkal’s solution leverages zero-knowledge proofs: the network verifies a transfer’s legitimacy without publicly disclosing transaction details, keeping amounts, senders, and recipients private.

Compliance remains a pivotal concern for all participants. Hinkal states that all funds are screened before onboarding, and that its viewing keys give users and businesses the ability to share transaction records with auditors or authorities as required.

Screening and audit functionality aim to satisfy regulatory demands while maintaining the confidentiality needed for sensitive transactions, a balance considered crucial as stablecoins reach more mainstream payment applications.

Despite joining the Mastercard program, Hinkal has not announced a launch of a dedicated Mastercard product or a direct integration involving card payments. The collaboration focuses instead on contributing privacy technology to the wider development of digital asset and payment infrastructure.
