Bitcoin Surge Influences XRP Amidst Unemployment Data and SEC Case Developments 

Following the release of unemployment and employment data from the U.S., the price of Bitcoin (BTC) once again climbed above $27,000. This situation had a broad impact on the cryptocurrency market, and in particular, affected XRP. However, the U.S. unemployment data is not the sole reason why XRP is one of the “greenest” among the top 10 cryptocurrencies. 

XRP: A Potential Surge Ahead

Significant developments took place in the securities lawsuit filed against Ripple by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), resulting in a surge for XRP. Famous crypto analyst TechnicalRoundUp, in his latest statement on his YouTube channel, commented on the potential increase in XRP’s price. The analyst emphasized that the current value of XRP could even double or triple. This optimistic prediction is based on a positive verdict from the SEC lawsuit and the potential for XRP price to disrupt market dynamics. 

According to the analyst, investing in XRP, especially for those willing to take the risks and who know their limits, could be profitable. From a risk and reward perspective, XRP really steps forward. The analyst pointed out that even in a worst-case scenario and if the lawsuit is lost, XRP has already lost much of its value, which he believes could result in a maximum additional drop of 10%. A $1 target for XRP is realistic, according to the analyst. 

The analyst suggested a possible scenario for XRP: 

In my view, XRP could return to the agenda. We are getting closer to the result of the SEC lawsuit, and I think a significant profit can be achieved with a stop-loss order. The profit here could be two or even three times. The drop, according to a worst-case scenario, could be between 10% and 15%.

XRP Price Analysis

Looking at the XRP price analysis, it appears that other experts share similar views. Renowned altcoin expert DonAlt pointed out that if XRP gets bad news, the drop will be limited, but if it receives good news, the surge could be significant. The analyst conveyed that XRP’s price could test $0.70, and reiterated this expectation. 

At the moment, XRP is maintaining support at $0.51, and in this context, it definitely succeeds in being one of the best altcoins within the top 10.
