Cryptocurrency analyst Sherpa believes that certain altcoins could yield substantial profits before the market cycle completes. With 228,100 followers on social media platform X, he shared his optimistic outlook on these altcoins.
Expectations for Chainlink and Algorand
According to the analyst, many altcoins will gain value as market conditions improve. Sherpa predicts returns of 400% to 600% for the decentralized oracle network Chainlink $24 (LINK) and the layer 1 protocol Algorand (ALGO) by the end of the cycle. He mentioned, “We could see 3-5x gains on the lower end and 5-10x on the higher end.” He added that almost everything has a potential for a 3-5x increase at this time.
Sherpa also commented on the popular meme coin Dogecoin $0.332281 (DOGE). He believes Dogecoin is currently in a consolidation phase before experiencing an uptick. He noted that Dogecoin has shown high volatility during this period and established a specific price range. “Here, the bottom levels for DOGE are forming,” Sherpa emphasized, highlighting the importance for investors to monitor this phase carefully.
Other Notable Altcoins
Sherpa suggests that mid-market cap meme coins could outperform many utility coins if the market rises. He foresees opportunities for coins like BONK, PEPE, and WIF, especially with new projects and infrastructure innovations. The analyst stated that investors need to remain flexible and adapt their strategies to changing market conditions.
Sherpa predicts that Chainlink could increase by over 350% to return to its previous highs. In contrast, he noted that even an over 300% increase for Algorand might not be sufficient to reach its all-time high. He highlighted that Dogecoin is currently trading at $0.159, indicating that the dynamic nature of the crypto market offers various opportunities for investors. Sherpa advised crypto investors to closely monitor market conditions and update their strategies accordingly, as projects like Chainlink and Algorand hold potential for those looking to diversify their portfolios.
