As the expectations for the approval of a Bitcoin ETF increase in the US, prominent figures are making noteworthy comments. Anthony Scaramucci, the founder and managing partner of SkyBridge Capital, a famous fund manager and crypto investor, announced that he expects the leading cryptocurrency Bitcoin (BTC) to approach $1 million in the next 10 years.
Scaramucci emphasized that he never claimed that Bitcoin would reach $31 million and stated, “This is clearly a typographical error.” However, Scaramucci stated that the largest cryptocurrency could reach a range of $150,000 to $200,000 in the next bull cycle and could reach $750,000 within ten years.
The Power of Spot Bitcoin ETF
Scaramucci’s statements are based on the possibility that a spot Bitcoin ETF will soon be given the green light in the US. After the allegations that BlackRock’s spot Bitcoin ETF application had been approved, which was announced by Cointelegraph at the beginning of the week and then covered by mainstream media outlets such as Reuters and Bloomberg, the price of Bitcoin increased by approximately 10% and exceeded $30,000. However, BlackRock denied these allegations by stating that the evaluation process of the iShares Spot Bitcoin ETF application is still ongoing. Despite the denial of the approval news, expectations that the SEC will approve a spot Bitcoin ETF are increasing.
Mike Novogratz, a finance expert and the president of Galaxy Digital Fund, expressed his expectation that the first spot Bitcoin ETF in the US would be approved this year in an interview with CNBC during the week. Robert Kiyosaki, the author of the book “Rich Dad Poor Dad” and an entrepreneur, also made an important comment about Bitcoin recently.
Kiyosaki stated that Bitcoin is currently approaching the $30,000 threshold but will soon rise to $135,000. He also commented on other favorite safe haven assets, gold, and silver. According to Kiyosaki, gold will soon rise to $2,000 per ounce and then make a sharp rise to $3,700. He expects silver to rise from $23 to $68 per ounce.
