Bahrain National Bank (NBB) has partnered with APR Digital to introduce the first Bitcoin 
$76,467-focused structured investment fund in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). This fund offers accredited investors the opportunity to invest in the leading cryptocurrency. Currently, Bahrain is one of the countries with the largest Bitcoin holdings.
Purpose and Structure of the Fund
The Bitcoin investment fund initiated by NBB is designed to provide investors in the Gulf region with access to digital assets. The fund also serves as a hedge against the depreciation of Bitcoin.
Discussing this development, NBB’s Group Executive Chairman Hisham AlKurdi stated that the fund combines the appeal of digital assets with capital protection.
