Cryptocurrency investors will remember the name of Binance CEO, who has now broken his silence to announce his new project. The Binance CEO, who is required to reside in the US until the end of the court proceedings, shared more details about his new project just a few minutes ago. The venture doesn’t even have a logo yet, but it doesn’t seem like an idea that just popped up out of nowhere either.
Binance CEO’s New Project
After resigning for a settlement with the US, CZ has been quiet about crypto for a while. However, he announced his new project just a few minutes ago. Surprisingly, this project has no connection to crypto. It will provide financial education but also offer lessons in general literacy, science, and other subjects. In other words, CZ is taking a step to educate students from grades 1-12 on an online platform (or those who wish to be online students). CZ wrote the following;
“My next project. Giggle Academy will provide free basic education for everyone. We will not generate income, and the team will work directly with me. We are hiring.
To create a completely free, high-quality, and engaging education platform accessible to everyone is the most impactful thing I can do for the next chapter of my life.”
The domain address was acquired at the end of 2022, and likely CZ invested in it at an unknown date after his resignation to engage in something. The Giggle website states that no crypto token will be issued.
“I (CZ) have been thinking for a few months about what I will do next. I need to find a job. I could try to help fight corruption, hunger in the world, climate change, etc. But I don’t think I would be very successful in these areas. My effectiveness would be low. I believe that educating more people will indirectly help solve all these problems.
There’s no competition. Our platform does not generate revenue. We invite everyone to “compete” with us, to provide better service.”
