Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, recently announced that it will perform conversion operations for 3 old altcoins that have been delisted from its platform but still remain in users’ wallets. Here are the details of these altcoins and the conversion process.
Binance to Convert 3 Altcoins
Binance, the giant cryptocurrency exchange, made an important announcement titled “Notification Regarding the Ongoing Conversion of Old Tokens.” The announcement stated that conversion would be carried out for old altcoins held in Binance’s spot wallet for eligible users. Accordingly, Binance will convert the altcoin, formerly known as KNCL and previously listed on the cryptocurrency exchange, to KNC at a 1:1 ratio. Similarly, ANTOLD will be converted to ANT, and XDATA will be converted to DATA.
Binance added that these three altcoins were previously tradable on the cryptocurrency exchange but are now obsolete and cannot be traded.
The conversion process for these old altcoins will be completed by 02:59 AM GMT on August 31st.
Users Can Inquire About Deposit Status
Binance also stated that deposit and withdrawal operations for these altcoins are no longer available and that these altcoins are not eligible for conversion if users cannot deposit them into their accounts. The cryptocurrency exchange requested users to send a “Deposit Status Inquiry” to complete the previous deposit transactions that were not reflected in their accounts for these altcoins.
It should be noted that KNCL, ANTOLD, and XDATA, which are not available for deposit and trading on Binance but are held in spot wallets, can be withdrawn on supported networks. The amounts not subject to the minimum withdrawal limit for all three altcoins can be withdrawn to supported cryptocurrency wallets that are not provided by Binance.
