Bitcoin received heightened attention from institutional investors as spot Bitcoin ETFs in the United States rebounded with net inflows of $74.57 million on November 4. Fidelity’s FBTC fund recorded a notable $237 million in new investments, positioning itself as the leader among ETFs for the session. Data provided by SoSoValue also showed that spot Ether ETFs ended a five-day streak of outflows, attracting $53.02 million on the same day.

ETF flows point to shifting institutional sentiment

The return of net inflows after three sessions of withdrawals reflects changing sentiment among institutional participants. Over the previous three days, outflows from spot Bitcoin ETFs reached about $1.16 billion, adding pressure to Bitcoin’s price and market outlook. BlackRock’s IBIT, the largest fund by assets, stood out with withdrawals totaling $201.24 million, suggesting that activity across major funds is not uniform.

Despite the divergence between Fidelity and BlackRock, combined ETF flows for Bitcoin and Ether on November 4 amounted to $127.59 million in net inflows. This development highlights an uptick in institutional interest, although significant differences remain between individual products.

Total net assets across United States spot Bitcoin ETFs now approach $102.26 billion, and their cumulative net inflows have reached $56.54 billion. These figures reinforce the growing role of ETFs in shaping the cryptocurrency’s liquidity and investor participation.

The contrast between Fidelity’s considerable inflows and BlackRock’s notable withdrawals underscores that institutional demand for Bitcoin ETFs remains uneven across major issuers, reflecting a cautious approach by different investment strategies.

Technical analysis and key market levels

On the technical side, Bitcoin traded near $80,355 at the time of the latest assessment. The daily Relative Strength Index, or RSI, hovered around 50.2, signaling a neutral momentum. Key resistance for the asset stands at $81,128, with support established near $79,746. Analysts emphasize that a sustained move above resistance could strengthen the bullish recovery, while a breach of support may prompt additional selling.

Various indicators present a mixed picture, as some moving averages and oscillators lean bullish but the overall trend remains largely sideways. Market participants are closely watching for a definitive break above resistance to confirm renewed upward momentum.

Given the changing ETF inflow patterns and mixed technical outlook, traders and institutional investors appear focused on whether subsequent sessions will continue to deliver positive flows into major products.

During periods of such market uncertainty—when ETF flows can shift abruptly and technical levels are being tested—investors need to keep a close watch on both price action and institutional response. Analyst projects bullish cup-and-handle target

Crypto Patel, an independent crypto analyst, has drawn attention to the potential formation of a large cup-and-handle pattern in Bitcoin’s higher timeframe chart. The initial “cup” represents a rounded recovery in price, followed by a consolidation phase forming the “handle.”

Patel suggests that, if a breakout above resistance completes the structure, Bitcoin could technically aim for a long-term target of $363,000. However, this projection is conditional; a confirmed breakout is required before the pattern’s target is considered valid.

Crypto Patel points out that the handle of this structure is still forming, and only a decisive move above resistance would lend credibility to the bullish scenario. Without such a break, the pattern may lose relevance.

The upcoming sessions are likely to be pivotal for Bitcoin, as traders assess the sustainability of ETF inflows and the asset’s ability to clear key technical hurdles. A move above $81,128 could reinforce the bullish scenario, while a drop below support may signal short-term weakness.
