Yeung highlighted the establishment of an open licensing regime as a major step for Hong Kong’s crypto sector. However, she emphasized that licensing alone is insufficient, stressing the critical importance of liquidity in the market.
“The gradual formation of pro-crypto regulations in Hong Kong is a positive sign for China,” Yeung said.
