For about 1.5 hours, Elon Musk and Ark Invest CEO Wood have been conducting a Space broadcast discussing everything in the world. Investors deprived of sleep were focused on the words that would come out of Musk’s mouth regarding cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin. The broadcast started with Elon Musk providing some information about X and then moved on to the topic of cryptocurrencies.

The conversations in SpaceX and many other topics were more focused on the future. The broadcast, which also mentioned artificial intelligence, is still ongoing. Cathie Wood asked the famous billionaire an extensive question about the future and benefits of cryptocurrencies. Elon Musk roughly said;
“I don’t think about cryptocurrencies very often; I don’t talk about them”.
We can see this as a process that started with his announcement months ago saying, “I will no longer be interested in cryptocurrencies, I will focus on artificial intelligence.” We are not facing an Elon Musk who sent fun messages in 2021 and sometimes drove investors crazy. This situation disappointed those who were expecting a rise in the price of DOGE and BTC and had been listening to Wood and Musk in the Space broadcast for 1.5 hours.
Cryptocurrencies will not be integrated into X payment services, but for those who are curious, here are some notable statements by Musk during the broadcast;
“So, X’s traffic is increasing. When you look at the traffic figures, traditional media is declining, but X is on the rise. A reason to be optimistic. But of course, traditional media would never write a story about this. It’s unlikely they would publish a news saying, ‘Hey, we are losing and X is winning.’ Tremendous progress has been made in just one year. We have made more progress in one year than Twitter did in the previous five years.
We expect most state payment service licenses to be approved early next year. The launch of X payment services is targeted for mid-2024.”
