Ethereum (ETH) has fallen below the $2,000 threshold, raising fresh concerns among investors as spot Ethereum ETFs in the United States have recorded net outflows for the third consecutive week. The latest figures indicate growing uncertainty across the broader cryptocurrency market, with ETH at its lowest level in recent months.
Extended ETF outflows
For the third week in a row, spot Ethereum ETFs in major US markets have seen continuous investor withdrawals. According to data compiled from leading ETF providers, funds specializing in ETH have reported total weekly outflows of approximately $24 million. This sustained movement suggests that US-based institutional and retail investors may be losing confidence in Ether’s near-term prospects.
ETH price slips below psychological support
The persistent withdrawals have contributed to downward pressure on Ethereum’s price, moving the asset decisively below the key $2,000 level. Many analysts view this as a significant psychological support point, and the current slide has sparked debate over whether ETH may face further losses if negative sentiment continues.
Compared to last month, Ethereum’s value has declined by over 15%. Market participants point to a combination of ETF outflows, macroeconomic headwinds, and shifting investor sentiment as primary drivers of this recent downtrend.

Industry expert Selin Yılmaz noted that, “With three consecutive weeks of outflows in US spot ETH ETFs, the market is clearly signaling caution. A decisive move below $2,000 is adding to bearish sentiment.”
Some experts highlight that a recovery in ETH-owned funds and positive news from regulatory fronts could shift momentum back in favor of Ethereum. However, at present, market direction appears uncertain.
While ETF outflows dominate headlines, trading volumes in major cryptocurrency exchanges have also declined. This points to decreasing enthusiasm for short-term speculation in ETH.
Internationally, other regions are also seeing less aggressive accumulation of Ethereum assets. This global caution is contributing to the stagnant or downward trend in the ETH price.
