In 2021, one of the most noteworthy sectors during the crypto market rally was the metaverse sector. The project developed by Meta’s founder Mark Zuckerberg in this field, and the renaming of Facebook to Meta, marked a significant development in the industry. Most recently, on November 28th, Halkbank announced an event that has drawn attention in this field.
A Beautiful Life in the Metaverse
On November 28th, Halkbank announced a program titled “A Beautiful Life in the Metaverse” on its official website. The program, starting with the tourism sector for entrepreneurs looking to develop their businesses, will cover enlightening topics each month as part of this event. Leading academics, industry professionals, and key figures in the field will share their ideas with participants in the metaverse environment based on the predetermined topics each month.
The first session of the Beautiful Life program, moderated by Dr. Sinan İbiş, will take place at Halkbank Metaverse Event Center on November 30th at 20:30. The theme of the first episode is identified as the Secrets in Tourism and Care Economy. Leading figures in the tourism sector will participate in this program.
For the event on November 30th, Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Uysal, Head of the Tourism Marketing Department at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Prof. Dr. Musa Pınar from the Marketing Development and Brand Department at Indiana Valparaiso University, and many other leading names in the industry will be present at the program.
Key Details for the Metaverse Program
An application form has been made available on Halkbank’s official website for everyone interested in participating in the program. You can apply by simply leaving your name, surname, and email address on the participation form. Additionally, indicating your desire to participate each month will suffice.
Following this step, participants will receive an email the day before the event, which will provide access to the event. To participate, a laptop or desktop computer should be preferred; participation is not possible via mobile devices. After selecting an avatar, participants will be able to join the event successfully.
