Bitcoin (BTC) Expert Opinion
Famous analyst DonAlt, who accurately predicted the market bottom in November 2022, argues that a massive rally period is approaching for the king of cryptocurrencies. DonAlt stated that Bitcoin could enter a consolidation phase that would positively impact altcoins later.
“And then you can see it turn into another Bitcoin consolidation period like this. BTC is roughly moving between $33,400 and $35,200. People will chase gains of 5% to 20% in altcoins. Maybe we will see even bigger rallies.”
Although many cryptocurrencies have tested their 18-month highs, they are far from their annual highs. This allows altcoins to consolidate within the current range of BTC while potentially achieving greater gains.
Ethereum and Solana (SOL)
The price of Ethereum (ETH) is at $1,813, and the expected massive gains after the PoS transition have not materialized. The altcoin king has been spending a long time below $2,000, and unsuccessful attempts have squeezed the price into the range of $1,600 to $1,850. DonAlt made the following predictions for ETH:
“Even if ETH investors are only recovering a small percentage of what they lost, I think there is a high chance of a bounce. As long as this situation continues, you can see some sort of bounce.”
Regarding Solana (SOL), the seventh-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, the analyst also made some comments. According to the analyst, the price is starting to consolidate after the recent rally, and a buying opportunity may present itself to investors.
“There is really no good pullback level to buy Solana. I think it would be scary if it drops back to $30. That would be a pullback level, but it could actually undermine the optimism.”
The analyst argues that a price above $38 for SOL Coin seems reasonable for further rallies. At the time of writing, the price is just below $40.
