The El Salvador-based organization Mi Primer Bitcoin 
$77,560 (MPB) celebrated its third anniversary by promoting two of its employees to leadership roles. Reyna Chicas, who has been with MPB for nearly two years, was appointed as the Education Director, while Quentin Ehrenmann was elevated to the General Manager position.
Reyna Chicas’ Remarkable Advancement
Born in El Salvador, Reyna Chicas began her career at MPB as a teacher. She quickly progressed to the positions of Head Teacher and then Board Member, now taking on the role of Education Director. In the organization’s early days, she was sent to the Bitcoin Lake community in Guatemala for six months to provide training.
Over the past year, she played a crucial role in communication between MPB and the El Salvador Ministry of Education. In her new position, Chicas aims to reach more people through education.
“As a Salvadoran, I started this journey as a teacher and have experienced the power of education to trigger growth and change. As Education Director, I am determined to inspire more people with MPB and demonstrate that together we can build a better future with passion, effort, and dedication.”
Quentin Ehrenmann’s Contributions
Quentin Ehrenmann joined MPB in 2023 and quickly rose to the position of General Manager. In his first project, he initiated an education-focused circular economy by moving to an underdeveloped island on El Salvador’s eastern coast. He later engaged in educational activities within communities in the Salvadoran mountains.
As Operations Director, Ehrenmann contributed to the expansion of the Independent Educators Network, which currently has teachers in 27 countries. He aims to reach more students in the future.
“Working on a special project on an island off El Salvador and joining the leadership team has been incredibly fulfilling. I look forward to helping independent Bitcoin education reach its next 100,000 students.”
Founded under the vision of John Dennehy, MPB aims to extend Bitcoin education to wider audiences. With the new leadership team, the organization targets broader outreach for digital financial education.
Mi Primer Bitcoin continues to enhance individuals’ financial literacy through education, contributing to economic development. The promotions of Chicas and Ehrenmann are seen as significant steps towards achieving the organization’s goals.
The organization plans to reach more people globally through the independent educators network. The newly appointed leaders will play a key role in fulfilling this mission.
