Shibarium, the Layer-2 scaling solution, is expected to be released soon. NOWNodes, a leading blockchain infrastructure provider and a key partner of Shibarium, hinted at the imminent launch of the mainnet. Expectations are high for the official launch scheduled for August.
SHIBARIUM ROADMAP
The Shibarium team, currently in the third phase of the roadmap, is making great efforts to onboard projects to the platform’s mainnet. The final part of the roadmap includes a test phase meticulously managed by NOWNodes.
The NOWNodes team, aiming to secure a major deal, stated that Shibarium is ready to become one of the first node providers on the network once the deal is signed. According to a statement on NOWNodes’ Twitter page, as soon as the conditions are met, the first official partnership for the integration of Shibarium RPC Nodes will be shared with the public.

Named after Shiba Inu’s native cryptocurrency, Shibarium is designed to enhance the scalability and transaction efficiency of the Shiba Inu network. Layer-2 solutions like Shibarium are built on the Ethereum blockchain to offload cryptocurrency transactions from the mainnet blocks. This increases transaction speed and significantly reduces gas fees.
Upcoming Shibarium Launch Ignites Market Expectations
As the official launch of Shibarium approaches in August, the market’s response is significant. Investors are accumulating SHIB, the native token of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, as well as related tokens such as BONE, LEASH, WOOF, and PAW, which have recently emerged in this ecosystem.
Although there is no confirmed launch date for Shibarium, the anticipation surrounding it is felt throughout the crypto community.
