The Shiba Inu team has announced an update to Shibarium’s RPC listing in the ethereum-lists/chains registry, providing refreshed connection details now available through Chainlist. Shibarium RPC Update and Community Involvement
A long-standing member of the Shiba Inu community, Mazrael, initiated the recent update by submitting a Pull Request to point to the most current Shibarium RPC endpoint. This adjustment addresses an issue stemming from an earlier migration when Shibarium’s public RPC was moved to a more decentralized and stable infrastructure, leading to the decommissioning of previous endpoint listings.
After the migration in late 2025, older public RPC endpoints for Shibarium were deactivated, but the ethereum-lists/chains registry had not reflected this change until now. Users connecting to Shibarium through tools like Chainlist now benefit from accurate, up-to-date network settings.
Mazrael confirmed via X that Pull Request #8699, which updates the Shibarium RPC details, has been merged into ethereum-lists/chains. Chainlist acts as a central registry used by both wallet applications and Web3 infrastructure providers, offering a database of network configurations for seamless integration.

Further infrastructure improvements were revealed by Mazrael, who announced that both the official shib.io website and the ShibaSwap platform moved to Cloudflare on September 12, 2026. Both services now support IPv6, replacing the previous host environments. In addition, the project’s official documentation site, doc.shib.io, was migrated to the same new framework. Mazrael commented that “Env rebuild is further along than it looks from the outside,” indicating substantial work behind the scenes.
