World Liberty Financial (WLF), backed by Donald Trump, is rapidly advancing its cryptocurrency investments. Recently, the project acquired 2.52 million MOVE coins for USDC worth $1.4 million and purchased 52 Wrapped Bitcoin 
$94,440 (WBTC) for $5 million USDC. Blockchain analysis company Nansen confirmed that these transactions took place on Thursday. World Liberty has also garnered attention for its recent staking and lending activities.
World Liberty Continues Its Crypto Acquisitions
Through these acquisitions, World Liberty has significantly expanded its portfolio. MOVE coin is among the altcoins the company is particularly focused on. MOVE is known as the native asset of Movement Labs’ main network. The project has also been in the limelight due to claims that it is in discussions with the Government Efficiency Department led by Elon Musk.
Additionally, the project actively engages with the cryptocurrency community on social media. Rushi Manche, founder of Movement Labs, made a notable remark regarding WLF’s MOVE coin acquisitions, simply stating, “More to come.” This has been interpreted as a signal that World Liberty is preparing for broader investments in the cryptocurrency market.
World Liberty Announces New Strategic Reserve Plan
World Liberty recently announced the establishment of a strategic coin reserve named “Macro Strategy.” This reserve aims to diversify funds and mitigate risks. The project also seeks to collaborate with traditional financial institutions, intending to include tokenized assets from these institutions in the reserve.
Despite not yet being operational, it has been reported that 96% of WLFI coin sales have been completed. According to the project’s official website, 926.9 million WLFI coins have not yet entered circulation. These coins will grant holders voting rights in governance but will not be transferable.
It is known that the project has purchased over $315 million in cryptocurrencies since the end of 2024. Data indicates that during this period, World Liberty acquired 63,030 ETH and 699 WBTC. The project has also invested in various altcoins such as TRX, LINK, AAVE, and ENA.
