Regulatory developments in Turkey and worldwide bring new rules that cryptocurrency exchanges must comply with. Following the billions of dollars in fines paid to the U.S., Binance is being extremely diligent about adherence to regulations. As per the law approved by the Turkish Grand National Assembly on July 2, Binance Global and other global exchanges will no longer offer services in Turkish.
The Binance application and website will continue to operate in English and other languages. The Turkish customer service line will remain active, and there will be no further updates affecting user funds.
Investors in Turkey had been anticipating an update on cryptocurrency taxes. Vice President Yılmaz stated that this issue is no longer on their agenda, providing some relief to investors. There are no expectations for taxation in the exchange and cryptocurrency sectors for an extended period.
