Bitmine Immersion Technologies announced Monday that its Ether holdings have reached 5.79 million ETH, representing approximately 4.8% of the cryptocurrency’s total supply. The company’s latest purchase added nearly 10,000 ETH over the past week.
Staking operations drive yield
Bitmine reported that out of its 5.79 million ETH reserve, about 4.9 million ETH—equivalent to roughly 85% of its total Ether holdings—are currently locked in staking validator operations. This approach enables Bitmine to generate yield from its assets through the Ethereum network’s proof-of-stake consensus mechanism.
The company forecasts that annualized staking rewards could reach $299 million once all its Ether is fully distributed across Bitmine’s internal staking infrastructure as well as external partner validators.
Bitmine disclosed that its combined crypto holdings, cash, and marketable securities now total $11.8 billion as of July 26.

Corporate holdings and market strategy
Bitmine now operates the largest Ether treasury among public companies by total coin holdings, second only to Strategy in dollar value of digital assets. Strategy remains a major corporate crypto holder but has recently paused new Bitcoin purchases.
On Monday, Strategy announced it raised $544.5 million through stock sales, bought back $25 million of its STRC preferred shares, and increased its US dollar reserves to $3.75 billion. The company maintained its Bitcoin holdings at 843,775 BTC.
The accumulation trends and treasury movements among these institutional players continue to impact corporate positioning within the digital asset market.
With 5.79 million ETH, Bitmine manages one of the world’s largest corporate Ether treasuries, closely monitoring staking yields and market performance.
