Jupiter, a decentralized exchange built on the Solana 
$173 Blockchain, has conducted its most participated vote in history. The community voted to extend the Active Staking Rewards (ASR) program for an additional year, utilizing 2.3 billion JUP coins for this purpose. The decision to prolong the ASR will be effective until September 30, 2025. The remaining 15 million JUP coins will be returned to a multisig wallet controlled by the community.
Community Decides to Extend ASR Program for One More Year
As a result of voting organized by the Jupiter community, it has been decided to extend the ASR program for one more year. With this extension, the ASR program will continue until September 2025.
The ASR program is known for promoting active participation within the Jupiter community and rewarding coin holders. According to an announcement made on Jupiter’s official social media platform X, this voting saw the highest participation in the history of Jupiter.
The voting was held to allocate unused portions of the 2.3 billion JUP coins for financing ASR rewards and ensuring the program’s sustainability until 2025. The excess 15 million JUP coins designated for the ASR program will be returned to the community’s multisig wallet address.
New DAO Page and ASR AirDrop Coming Soon
Additionally, Jupiter announced the upcoming launch of a new DAO page and that the ASR AirDrop will be implemented within two weeks. This initiative aims to make all processes related to ASR rewards more transparent and community-focused.
