Recently detailed through a pull request on GitHub, this update aims to foster increased collaboration among Ethereum infrastructure units by introducing a new cross-chain interface, thereby striving for a more unified ecosystem.
SuperchainERC20 Update
The updated protocol introduces a new bridge called SuperchainERC20Bridge and the ICrosschainERC20 interface. This modification intends to boost Ethereum’s scalability and interoperability across various layer-2 solutions. Existing sending and relay functions will be transitioned to the SuperchainERC20Bridge.
