Cryptocurrency exchanges’ investment arms continue to distribute capital to early-stage projects. Almost all investment arms of popular cryptocurrency exchanges like Binance are entering projects in promising areas such as DeFi and AI at their initial stages. The latest move came from the OKX exchange.

OKX Ventures recently announced its investment in Space and Time (SxT). This initiative serves as a blockchain-based verifiable computation layer for smart contracts and language models. OKX Ventures stated in its announcement;
“The SxT research team has spent the last two years building a new zero-knowledge (ZK) system and achieved unprecedented performance. This provides a scalable method for smart contract developers and businesses to verify database processing. The solution has applications in various sectors, including Web2 businesses, AI, DeFi, gaming, and Web3 infrastructure.”
Processing an average of 5.3 billion data requests per month, SxT has executed 500,000 queries. The initiative, which combines large data sets with zero-knowledge proof using artificial intelligence, may gain more recognition in the future.
