Bitcoin, the leading cryptocurrency, has begun the day with a rally, recording over a 2% increase in value in the last 24 hours, and now trades at around $27,400. As per the most recent data from CoinMarketCap (CMC), the total market value of the crypto ecosystem has reached a level of $1.13 trillion, while Ethereum (ETH) approaches the $1,830 mark once again.
Bitcoin Exceeds $27,000 Again
With Bitcoin surpassing the $27,000 price level, the cryptocurrency market turned bullish. Ethereum, which recorded an average rise of about 1% in the last 24 hours, is closing in significantly on the $1,830 price level.
According to CMC, the total market value of the crypto ecosystem has reached $1.13 trillion. On the other hand, data from Coinglass shows that $75 million worth of short and long positions were liquidated over the past 24 hours.
Featured Cryptocurrencies of the Day
With the rise of Bitcoin, there were cryptocurrencies that recorded double-digit gains during the day. Render Token (RNDR), Synthetix (SNX), Mask Network (MASK), Injective (INJ), and Optimism (OP) were among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market value, which recorded the highest percentage gains over the past 24 hours, according to CMC data.
Despite the overall upswing in the cryptocurrency market, there were also cryptocurrencies that lost various degrees of value throughout the day. Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market value, Decentraland (MANA), Toncoin (TON), Terra Classic (LUNC), Gate Token (GT), and XRP recorded the highest losses in the last 24 hours, according to CMC data.
